Honda CB350 H’Ness is the recent motorcycle from Japanese manufacturer in India. It is priced at Rs 1.90 lakh, ex-showroom and competes with the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa 42 in the segment. Honda has already started delivery of H’Ness and is sold via Honda’s Big Wing dealerships in India. Here we have a video that shares the first ride experience of this brand new motorcycle.
The video has been uploaded by Abhinav Bhatt on his youtube channel. The vlogger is among those who has taken the delivery of this motorcycle and the moment he starts riding he is quite impressed. The motorcycle felt very smooth and one the things that keeps on repeating in his vlog is the gear shift quality. The gear shifts are very smooth.
The motorcycle is very light and handling it on city roads is quite easy. He keeps on listing all the good things about the bike one after the other. The motorcycle feels very smooth. The instrument cluster is a combination of both analog and digital meter. The digital meter shows information like distance to empty, trip meter, odometer reading, average fuel economy and so on. The design of the tank is quite good and the vlogger can easily hug the tank while riding it.
As this was a new bike, he did not do high speed runs and was smoothly cruising through the city. The exhaust note is quite good and the engine feels quite refined as well. Overall, the bike feels like a quality product and vlogger says that it can be a game changer in the 350-cc segment. The power delivery is linear, suspension is on the stiffer side and the brakes also inspire confidence. The only fault that he felt during his short ride to his home is that the engine felt underpowered in 5th gear at a speed of 50-60 kmph. the bikes was asking rider to shift down to keep up. Once the bike had crossed 3,000 rpm band, the bike starts to pickup speeds but, under that, it felt very laggy.
Honda H’Ness is a premium motorcycle and the on-road price of it according to the vlogger was Rs 2.18 lakh, ex-showroom. According to the vlogger, more numbers of this motorcycle would be sold in the market if they sell it through regular Honda dealerships. The Honda H’Ness is powered by a 348-cc, single cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected engine generating 20.8 Bhp and 30 Nm of torque.
